40mm eg Rolex sports, Pam 40mm
42mm eg Exp2 Cartier calibre pam42mm AP Roo
44mm Pam luminors
47mm Pam rads, some u boats

Depends on the type of watch. It's 35mm (eg. 6694) to 45mm (eg. Panerai) for me

Don't know if it is just me, but when I started wearing 44mm PAMs the 40mm GMT2 seem too small and I just traded for another 44mm PAM. I am eyeing the DSSD though...

prefer 42mm, one of the reasons i got explorer ii.
min for me is 40mm...anything smaller looks odd on my wrist.
in addition, i think lugs to lugs size does make some difference.

when i feel my ego deflated, i want to feel man, i want others to see me as a macho man, i will wear my 45mm watch. haha

Some say big watches for AHPEK haha and they can't see the small text on the montbrilliant or the
Slide rule type bezel. But really I like the lume on my 44mm ESP the PAM sandwich dial and the weight of the steel.

It really depends on the shape of the case and the lugs, but 39-42mm is my comfort zone. Dress watch can go to 36mm I supposed.

44-45mm is the way to go for men size
40mm is passe

40mm has always been recognized as the max size that a timepiece should be. Anything bigger can't be taken seriously. Or say so some watch aficionados

Due to my puny wrist, i can only wear 36-42mm. Anything more will looklike a clock on my wrist. Sad leh cos some of the nice models are generally >=42
