I could tell there are some with reading/comprehension disability.

I prefer to spread a big purchase out rather than pay for it upfront

what i did for my 2 previous rolex is...... i saved enough money to pay for the 5/6 of the total amount. then i bought my rolex in installment for 6 months at zero interest. as i am paying for the monthly dues, i was saving for the last payment already. guess what?? after payment of the last amount due, i still have about 50% left! because i kept saving during the 6 month period.

while there can be only one meaning for "paying for it up front," "spreading a big purchase out" can have differing interpretations... ie, fiscally prudent or financially foolish?

but of course you, being differently enabled, knew that.

The pawnshop which specifically sells Only Rolexes will have the option of 0% when i saw it in Jurong and Yishun. You might want to try but preferably what DarkAngel mentioned, it's better to cut short and pay cash lah.

personally i dont believe in 0% interest. why? because the fees should be 'factor' in already.

Nobody would want to go for 0% if they are loaded. Rolex rise in prices year on year. going for 0% is a good deal as you save while you paid along. Like a housing purchasing, who is not bank loan except the rich. But even the poor can make money through installament. The bottomline is if you like a watch and have good income, go for it.
