  • If you were...

Hi, just to chit-chat since this came to my mind. If you were going to be in a bad situation which you do not know if you'll end up being alive/dead, which watch will you want to live/die with? Eg. stranded in an island, lost in jungle, trapped in rubble, hijacked in plane/ship, going bankrupt, etc-etc. You may choose any from your current collection or "soon to collect" piece(s) .

Sorry if this sounds ominous but it's purely "tcss"

My Tag Heuer which my wife bought for me when we were dating. Almost worthless in term of value. But in terms of sentimental value to me, it's priceless...

All the others watches can stand one side...

If I know I am about to die, I won't even wear a watch. Why keep track of my own demise?

Of course hypothetically, you don't know la bro.... It's like some movies eg. Lost, Poseidon, another one by Tom Hanks (forgotten title liao). And it may not end up a "demise". Ok, la then simpler one is when you are trapped in a lift. What watch do you wish to have on?

                          I think it's rather simple...

A Tag was all that we could afford when we were younger and started working. And Tag did a wonderful marketing job in convincing that they are the brand to get for a first 'Branded' watch.

I bet if one ask... "what's the first 'branded' watch that we ever owned?" Tag would be a big contender.

As so we speak... I'm wearing my Tag today... took it out of the watch box to wear. Must sayang it a bit. Must send it in for servicing soon. 13 year watch from my ex-gf (now wife!).
