  • Joker who asked to buy my 16610 on installment

    Hi Guys,

Remember that joker who asked to purchase my 16610 on installment when I was selling it?
    My sales thread was :
    http://www.sg-roc.com/showthread.php...ht=installment

    This fella's post was
    http://www.sg-roc.com/showpost.php?p=43736&postcount=6

Guess what? The fella is selling a BNIB OMEGA PLANET OCEAN CHRONO leh... Since he expects others to accept payment by installment for a preowned watch sold in a forum, maybe you guys can buy his PO Chrono on installment and pay it in full in 2020??

u can offer him on instalment. why not?

just go to THG, Sincere, Cortina, Dickson, etc and choose a watch that you like. assuming that the watch is 10k, ask him to swipe 6.5k on instalment plan. the rest u pay on ur own. if u got nothing in mind, just ask him to swipe 6.5k and put it as a deposit for any watch above 6.5k.

then he can then take your watch, u get a brand new watch. happy buyer. happy seller.

              True...

Funny thing is the way he told me previously like not much cash to pay for the purchase but when I saw his name in the sale forum recently, realise he have a number of items on sale either BNIB or LNIB, so why must he be funny to ask that kind of question?

wah... i no $$ don't dare to even ask. the most i ask for best of the best price but if cannot then don't haggle (although sometimes persistence and patience works heehee). i also won't sell any watch on installments...

i sold a plastic model toy on instalment once, S$200 upfront, S$300 1 mth later, S$350 2 mths later... buyer was a trusted collector... in the end, buyer paid up everything within 1 mth.
but for a watch, difficult lah, amt is usually too much ...

It's nt really the amt I guess. From yr post, it's more the person la. Say a watch costs $5k, and in yr scenario for eg., he pays u $2k as 1st paymt. Subsequent paymts r then broken up into 3 paymts of $1k/mth. Why nt? Still it is the person.

                          Just to share.
