Morale of story: Rolex is COSC certified! Shouldn't take off during shower cos might be more painful than wearing to shower.

Sad but why the need to remove a certified waterproof watch during a shower? Should have more confidence in your own Rolex.

adding salt to the wound eh Mille? But I have to agree. If you don't safeguard your property, no one will, and you deserve not to have it in the first place.

In otherwords, keep your property (material or otherwise) safe.

2 ways to look at it, from outside perspective - e fella is careless for leaving it there, so paying for his mistakes.

from his perspective, he might think think e place has limited access, hence, deemed to be safe enough to hang e Rolex there or he might be afraid to have water get into e watch so o choice but to hang there (of cos e other choice is to see if u can pass to someone u can trust at e place or keep at reception)

im just being honest here my friend.
a rolex isn't like to throw around. a rolex is a buddy by your side for life.

one doesn't just put his watch away, abandon it and den come looking for it later.

you know, this reminds me of those parents who just leave their kids to run around in shopping centers and not paying attention to them..totally irresponsible..then in the end have to use the shopping center PA system to find their kids.

a watch is a very personal tool..

                            best regards.
