The first watch that got me into collecting watches is when my dad gave me his Hamilton Khaki Field Quartz, about 3 years plus ago. Have came from a long way since then, but it still remains as my daily beater because it is pretty durable and it is very versatile

However, I got interested in watches from a very young age, because my dad and mum collect watches. Everyday, I would see my dad waking up a meticulously winding his Calatrava, and that's how I know about watches and that's when I started to get interested in them!

My first was brand watch was a tag heuer

Then deeper poison came when u was introduce to Pam by a friend
And then more poison after a colleague ask me to buy from sgroc
The very first watch I pull the trigger on sgroc was a Pam 164

Interesting.. I started this hobby late (thankfully) and bought myself a Tag Heuer (auto) before "all hell broke loose"

Almost all watches that I used to own looked very much nicer on other people's wrists

And I miss every watch that I sold away

a tag heuer auto passed down from my father which he was duped into buying by a salesman who told him it was limited edition and will appreciate in price. price went the other way but the sentimental value is there. :x

You mean first watch bought using own money? Childhood watch?
The first watch I bought for myself is a seiko quartz chronograph, more than 15yrs now, still running strong...

                      the Blue Steel look

Bought an Omega Constellation as a push present for my wife, and my "journey" (some coined it poison) begun.

Well.. I constantly see the man in the mirror and I will think to myself " Man... this dude is good looking "
And then I see the watch on his wrist and I will think to myself " Man... the watch and the dude (me of cos) are really, really, ridiculously good looking! "

this is the pose I will naturally, automatically make when i see mirrors/reflection..

There is a saying "you can't lose something you never had". You could replace "lose" with "miss", I guess.

After hearing from you all the great things your boss has said to you or done to you, I start to wonder what kind of jobs you are hired to do...

Or are you referring to your boss at home

Alan, I have seen you before...and I think I should let you know this...the watch doesn't do anything for you. It must be a special or magic mirror that you have at home!
