Why do you want to be invisible on the forum?

Quite many views since last night but very few contributions for this thread.
Let me share a little joke of Super Heros to keep this thread alive...
One day, Wonder Woman went to bed naked as she sometimes does when the weather is warm. The Atom flew by and decided to take advantage of her. He shrank himself into subatomic size and try to enter Wonder Woman from below her waist. As he entered the "tunnel", he heard a moan of a man's voice.
"Who's that?!", asked The Atom.
A man's voice answered, "This is The Invisible Man. You just got into my ass!".
Just a joke with entirely no connection to the subject matter (apart from the word "invisible"), so I hope everyone can appreciate it and no one gets offended.Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one

I did think of that too, but then, if your boss knows your nick, would you dare to post so frequently in the forum during working hours? And if you are not going to post or create threads because your boss might track you, why not just surf/view the forum without logging on?Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one

Your boss can find out what you are doing even without knowing your nick. Whatever you do on our office PC is being capture somewhere by your office network system admin (correct me if I wrong). They can know which site you visited and how much time you spent there. It is whether they want to confront you or not. That is why I can't spent too much time during office hour reading SGROC.

For rest of the members I believe we should all be on the same level. You don't go to the nude beach to see others naked with clothes on yourself. Shxx, why do I keep talking about naked in this thread...Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one

Since no one can offer a good reason maybe admin should consider removing this option from the setting? It also affects the statistics on number of members online (not that I am obsessed with such number). I see in some other vB forums that this option is not available.
Don't want to go into a technical discussion on how esls one can hide if one wishes. My principle is that anything that serves no good purpose but may hinder openness should not be there.Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one

I can be logged in 24/7.status.
Ideally the status indicator can show "idle" in the form of another colour after certain period of user being inactive (but logged on), but the vBulletin platform is a bit behind time in ceratin areas.Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one
