Whatever you are going to wear, remember not to be too showy especially infront of your not so well-off relatives/friends (a reminder for myself too).
Recalling what the late Dr. Richard Teo said about driving his Ferrari to CNY visiting...Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one

Its also time to remember the less fortunate this festive season. If you guys happen to be doing shopping at Chinatown. "Pai seh" for OT
Date: 15 January - 24 February 2013
Time: 11.00am - 9.00pm

Make your New Year wishes come true at the Chinatown Wishing Tree! Inspired by the renowned ancient banyan tree in Lam Tsuen in Hong Kong to which people travel to during Chinese New Year to leave their special wishes, a lucky banyan tree is installed at Chinatown Point where you can try throwing mandarin oranges tied to your wishes onto it. If they stay on the tree, it is said that your wishes will come true!
Join in the festive fun by making wishes for you and your loved ones. Get a mandarin orange wishing charm for S$2 to toss it onto the tree. All proceeds will be donated to the Kreta Ayer Seniors Activity Centre.
