  • help . watch getting scratched even with utmost care.

recently i bought a glycine incursore limited edition bj edition. the case is sand blasted .. im getting a lot of fine scratches . i made sure when im out i dont rub into anything and i give the utmost care ... sadly i found 6 scratches ranging from long to small ones. how do i remove the scratches. what could be causing it . its a sand blasted case so i cant just polish it off without changing the colour and shine . its a matt black colour.. any tips and advise would be appreciated .. cheers

I agree with Darkie. You can totally avoid scratches unless you keep the watch in the safe. Just wear the watch and perhaps when you send in for servicing, you can request the watch to be polished at the same time.

      Enjoy your Glycine

        Not Likely

If I'm not wrong, your watch is PVD coated, that's why it is black. If that's the case, you can't really do much about the scratches unless you send it back to the factory to have it re-done. It is costly and I won't recommend you send it to other sources.

"First cut is the deepest". Just enjoy your watch. You will be collecting more scratches along the way. After few years of wearing, you could bring it for polishing/re-sandblasting.

if u dont want to have any scratchs on the watch, keep it inside the box and dont wear it. chances are it being scratched then is almost very low.

alternatively if u want to wear the watch and still keep it in almost pristine condition, then wrap it with plastic all over.

Good idea! Use transparent plastic wrapper, it will keep your wrist "fresh"!
