Where to sell unwanted Gold or Platinum (scrap) ?

Hi All,

I would really appreciate if you can lead me to the right direction. I have a Gold ring (18k) and I would like to sell it at $/gram. Also, i have a scrap Platinum from an earring to sell. I was quoted $48/gram for the plat at Peninsula Plaza, is that the current buying/selling rate? Is there a better place i could go?

There are a couple of gold dealers in SG, usually the pricing is quite fixed for gold.

that is because they are Cartier love ring and bangle bracelet design. Real gold but not authentic. And this forum does not allow that, i guess...
