Demagnetize repair tool

Hi, I place some of my watches over a compass and noted 2 actually shifted the needle. Can I assumed they have been magnetized in someway?

I came across this in the ebay claiming it can demagnetise watches. Has anyone tried or have any opinion?

according to youtube, you just place your watch on it and press a button for 5 seconds then remove it. Will update and share the result when I get mine. Sorry, 3 weeks time hor. That will be Feb 2013
