It’s been awhile since I last posted any DIY Ideas due to my health & workload too. Sorry about that folks!
This is just to share an idea to DIY your own table lamp.
Last month, I had a broken clamp-lamp… and its past 12 midnight. I still had work to complete...shops were already closed... jialat!!!
I needed lights. So looking around the house I found the necessary items to create a flexible table lamp and this is what I got…
2 wire clothes hanger + 2 cloth pegs + a length of cable wrap + broken clamp-lamp
Step1
Uncoil & straighten the wire clothes hanger. You’ll need two wires for added strength.
Step2
Wrap both wires around the AC cord.
Step3
On one end, wrap the wires around the lamp base; and the other end around the cloth peg.
Step4
Coil the cable wrap over the twisted wires, exposing the rocker switch.
This will be the result of your “hard work”…
