heng never buy watches from that brand if not servicing dunno find who??....dickson just brought them in to our shores not long ago only....

Too many watch companies in the world today..competing to be on one's wrist.

a quick glance and i tot RICHEMONT files for bankruptcy....phew...at least Pams are safe...

i looked at the watches... and heard of the prices ...

no wonder bankrupt.....

In the recent years, we have seen many brands surfaced like mushrooms. Some old companies were revived back via marketing, some brands are completely new and not to be named, plenty of privat label companies. I guess it's time for consolidation, the crisis will wipe out the weak one first.

my gut feel is that a few small ones may collapse soon.

brands with strong financial backing esp those under the richemont, LVMH, Swatch groups would definitely survive the downturn.

you can see that some are still spending on A&P, so they would benefit the up-swing in the future.

Guess there will certainly be more watch companies 'disappearing'
