I don't wear a watch. My phone is always with me, so I can tell the time. And for some reason, I don't like the feeling of metal/rubber/plastic/leather over my wrist.

I need to wear a watch everyday, ever since I started wearing one 4 years back. I will feel naked without it

Will watches become obsolete/irrelevant in time to come, like what happened to pocket watches? I guess watch buying will exist going fwd as long as there are collectors and showy ppl living among us. Philately is a gd eg to illustrate this. Decades ago, I believed snail mail is dated and with it philately will come to an end in light of popularity of email as a mode of communication among us. Fast fwd, philately is still wth us and so is the post offices ...

Yes, I do. I rely on watches quite often during the day to tell the time. But this might not apply to other people. I am a salesman.

My wife asked why I kept starring on my watch while driving when the car clock was just infront of me. I wasn't checking time but just admiring the different colour tone of the dial n hands under the morning sun, haha.
