Bro pegasi I asking for help please
If u can reply with I can understand
I am not understand Chinese
Is it this what u say
Does not last forever, only care to have - Solvil et Titus
Eojmil already translated into English but I will try again...
"It does not matter if it is everlasting, what matters is that we have owned it before"
在乎 means "care" but doesn't quite express the meaning of the phrase if we do a direct translation, I feel.
The ad with this slogan was a very smart and successful one. It did not focus on the watches which did not stand out from the competitions, but instead sold an "attitude" using popular movie stars that appealed to the younger group of customers.
Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one
[QUOTE=pegasi;668869]...according to my personal liking, of course
2. Maurice Lacroix Follow your convictions
Well, I think it means follow your own judgment, which is another very boring and uncreative statement. It doesn’t help that the spoke person on the ad is the bald Dicky Cheung (张卫建). I don’t know about you, but I personally find it hard to look upon a short bald man for style. I like Dicky as an actor, but the only show I can remember he has acted in is the Monkey King, in which he actually had a lot of hairs.

Fully agreed....but maybe he is very popular in China.
Good point, probably so. That's the issue with using a global or regional ambassador for a brand - it works for some but doesn't work for the others. There is also a certain risk on the brand image when using a famous person or celebrity as the ambassador - Tiger Woods is a good (or bad) example.

the problem wif pp "You never really own a Patek Philippe; you merely look after it for the next generation" the chances that ur kid will like e watch as much as u do is very very low...
