Ok, so it's Friday and I need to run down some time before I can leave office.
I have always thought that some brands of watches deserve to appear on more wrists (I am not saying I am sick of rolex). So here is my list of the 5 that I think deserve higher popularity than what they have now:
1. JLC
2. Zenith
3. Breguet
4. Vacheron Constantin
5. Glashütte Original
One of the criteria is that the candidate is not already popular, which is why AP and IWC is not on the list as in my opinion they are quite popular (well, relatively so).
I also think that the entry model(s) of the brand should not be overly expensive otherwise they basically price themselves into a niche market (ya I know a bit weak in arguement for no. 3-5 in this aspect).
Finally the brand should also have good prestige (again in my personal opinion) which usually mean inhouse movement though not necessary so.
