it's actually pretty common to give watches as gifts... Esp the royalites who come to sg and then "da bao" hundreds of expensive watches back hm and keep, then give them out when there are guests who comes, expected and unexpected.
Apparently these gifts have "grading", ie. A-D. D means less than $10k, C means $10k -$20k etc... And the brands can cover rolex, frank muller, patek etc... Heard this from a senior i knew when he was a watch dealer many years ago. That's how some of the stores survive even though we see them empty half the time!
Anyway, to the riches, millions mean nothing!!
