    the arrival of iphone 5

    my appointment slot was 1400-1600 yesterday afternoon. as i would be in the area for F1 event.

    @ 1130 i received a sms to remind me of my appointment and asking me to make my way to MBS.

    reach there @ 1330 thinking that since appointment is made, how bad can it be. first time queue for iphone @ launch date.

    stood in the queue for about 20 minutes before getting into hall to do validation. got my queue ticket.

    hope it is a winning 4D ticket number for me this weekend

    then it was like easily another 100 plus people ahead of me.

    there were 50 counters serving customers and 10 payment counters

    monitored the situation for about 20 minutes.

    on average of 1 minute, 2 customers transaction will be completed.

    after 3 hours of queuing and waiting i got my sets.

    Heh! Congratz boss

    I was a little earlier than you on the same day. I was there at 9am..hehe

    Stayed for about a couple of hours before taking leave. Got one myself but thought of selling it

        Can't view the photo from the links leh - it says "the content is currently not available". Must use iphone 5 to view isit?

            Congra on your new phone.
            I am still waiting for the 3rd party converter to be manufacturer by China before getting the phone.

              Contemplating on the iphone 5...

              My plan is able to recontract but I m currently running my BB with BB plan, if I switch over to iphone, I prob have to switch SIM card everyday when I get back. Even if I were to sell the iphone, my BB will be crippled as the BB doesn't support alot of stuff w/o their own plan.

              Sigh...dilema.

                      there are 2 things you need to address.

                      if you are using the BB because there is no camera, then you can consider switching to Huawei and get the "RECRUIT" phone aka Honor. basically it is a phone without camera.

                      then all you need to do is get another sim for the same line. one card into iphone. one card into huawei. you can switch between which sim card is master/slave. when in areas without camera, use huawei, otherwise switch to iphone.

                      hope this solution can eliminate your dilemma.

                            Happy with my iPhone 5 so far. Extremely responsive and very fast speed compared to my 4. Managed to lay my hands on it on Friday at 8.30am before I head to office. Seems like queuing for new iPhone has become a yearly routine for me. Lol
