Omega De Ville Annual Calendar

Guys,

What do you think of this watch as a dress watch? Anyone has any experience with this watch?

It seems like De Ville collection is not so sought after compared to speedy/seamaster..why is this so?

I guess Omega did not start out/get popular with their klassik models, such as the De Ville range. And hence, this model seems to remain in the "background" till to-date. It's somewhat like the Cellini range with ROLEX I think. And moreover, the De Ville models are not cheap to begin with. Design wise (other than its branding), it doesn't look outstanding also. I don't know how much the above model costs but if you have $10,000 to spend on a klassik watch, will you buy an Omega De Ville? (take it that you do not have a klassik watch in your collection)

I think this watch looks great and fits well on a small wrist. No experience on this.

Like what ocean said, its on the sideline like the rolex cellini.

I think its overpriced though
