the 13% rebate is given by ANZ, so it doesnt affect Cortina's profit margin in any way.

Thus, the standard discount based on whatever market rate will apply for the individual watches that you are interested in.

In the first place, when you nego over a price of any particular watch you are interested in, they wouldnt even know if you are payin via the ANZ credit card or not.

Walked into both Cortinas @ Raffles City and MBS.

Nothing really caught my eye for a watch up to $6k. Wouldnt have minded the Black Bay and Pelagos if available but no luck whatsoever.

What are you folks eyeing?

I hold the ANZ card but just curious if Cortina offer only 5% discount plus 13% off from ANZ Card also cap at $780.00
Will it cost more if we buy a watch at $8000.00 somewhere else at 15% discount from purchase price ?

Yes you're correct.

Assuming you buy a $10K watch. Direct 15% - save $1500. Using this promotion and 5% given - save $780+$500 = $1280

I think this promotion should be used to buy rolex or some other brands that have really strict "controlled" discount....whereby THG, Sincere and Cortina are offering the same level of discount. Having said that, some bros here enjoy preferential discount over others..so a little bit of network and negotiaton are still required.

walked a few places and all quoted 15% discount. Cortina straight away quoted 20%+ the 13% rebate. happy!

Anyone buying from cortina, remember to head to the concierge and purchase capital vouchers. Limited to $300 per day per cardholder, get $30 voucher more and rebate in your card. As good as additional 10% off the final price using the voucher if u can amass the vouchers.
