  • Need advice on car servicing. Wait until the next mileage or gtg when the svc date?

    Hi guys,

what's your take? My car is currently at about 120k km mileage. The next service date is in August but the mileage wise is about 5k km more to go. Should wait until I hit the advice the mileage or go based on the recommended date for servicing?

    I'm driving a 06 Toyota Altis.

I do date or mileage, whichever comes first.

+\- a bit due to available time.

I think a month or 1k mileage won't have serious impact.

If u do regular servicing, it will not be much of a problem.
It also depend on how u drive the car.
If you are gentle to it, u can delay the servicing much later.
Take a look at the color of the oil, should help

Whichever comes first but usually it is alright to continue driving. Maybe 8k then head for servicing.

8k then service? Wah u really rich huh. Fully sintetic can last 10k. I think if u r super below 10k when 6 mths is up, no harm dragging another 1-2 mths

I only do it when the mileage is up, unless I can even reach it after a year.....
