Android vs iPad

Hi

I tried some android tablets before but found that they aren't really user friendly and a tad slow. The IPad 3 is easy to use and loads faster IMO.

There are certain trade offs between androids & IOS.

The deciding factor for me was user friendliness n so far I've had no complaints.

I use Samsung tab and SE xperia, both android OS.
No problem.

Waiting to try the galaxy note 2.

I Interesting pen. 1.6ghz quad core sounds good.

Have to get over the "making phone call on a large pad" thing.

End result is ipad 3g + note 2.

Note to screen size is just so much bigger than iphone for reading and surfing.
Andriod system have so much more selections than ios. Kinda messy in the beginning.
Too bad that adobe removed support for flash.
Love the ease of file transfer and reading of pdf doc xls, playing of most videos straight from the box.
And all the free angry birds.

Apple still have a neater os imo. More app selection. Better music player. Better product design.

Looking forward to Ive's iOS 7.

While I might be an Apple fan-boy, I have to say Android has improved leaps and bounds since 2.3 Gingerbread. Have a spare Galaxy Nexus and the camera UI is so much cooler.

Then again, iOS is really idiot-proof. Mum has less problems on an iPhone than on her previous Android ones.

Rarely sync ipad nowadays. I realized that the new itunes dont allow you to access your photos, files and documents.
No such issue on adroid that you can open all the folders, download files from web.

Freedom and more complicated vs simple and no freedom.

Android is almost an open platform, while iOS is proprietary hence all the restrictions to force you to use their tools/apps/accessories.
