Hi guys, I'm very new to watch trading, in fact, I havent done a trade before. Have spent a few days looking at the various forums and sale posts as well as the websites of some secondhand shops. I have a few questions and hope that the more experienced bros and sis here can help me learn:
1. In trade/sell posts I often see "verification at rsc'. What does this mean? bring to rsc to verify what? that the watch is authentic? would that cost 107? or is there any other things being tested?
2. Is it a no-no to buy from shops/websites? I've seen on some websites (like the ones advertised in this forum) that sell brand new watch at lower than market price. If they're really brand new, why is there a reduction in its value (i.e. why would they want to sell it for less)?
3. If you're unlucky and bought a watch with a lemon movement, can it be repaired at rsc till its working well? or gone case means gone case alr.
4. Does the value of a preown watch depend on how many times the owner change, or it's just dependent on the age/condition entirely?
Thanks in advance!
