Do you know the est pricing?
Info during Basel said 3250 CHF for the Oyster bracelet version and 2950 CHF for the leather strap Black Bay. Currently 1 CHF is about 1.374 SGD so we are looking at SGD 4470 and SGD 4050 respectively. That is, if you get it at list price.

          usually premium when launched.

even no premium, the list price may adjust upwards.

all swiss watches adjustment seems going upwards these days.

I'd probably have to wait for it to be in the second-hand market, to be able to afford it.

so far, there is only 2 for ball. the reason given

                      1) i probably have the sub ND and that is why i should get a ball
                      2) in terms of aesthetics

so there is no reason that points to some of the special features of this watch

monobloc case, helson/seiko/pita/etc also have monobloc case for their dive watch. so it may not be one of the highlight features of the deepquest

the bezel rotation is in terms of 30s interval unlike most dive watch rotating bezel where it 'clicks' 60 times for a full rotation.

the bracelet clasps is built a single piece which is interesting because there is a 'pin' to secure each half side.

ah...not into diving sports so can't comment on the technical aspect of a dive watch . I believe in the first place you have already tot & compare through, $$$ and specs. So i guess you asking is to see which brand the forum members are more inclined to .

PS: If going to use as a diving watch should go for deepquest. The lume should be helpful when under low light. I have the same bracelet on my SpaceMaster Glow, both side can be open for you to wear over jack or wetsuit.

Monobloc case alone does not guarantee better watch proof. A user of Helson Sharkmaster shared his experience in one forum that the watch did not survive a dive and got flooded inside. He sent the watch back and got a replacement but same thing happened.

By 30s interval do you mean 120 clicks for a full rotation? I think that's a good-to-have but not really crucial or is it? I would think it it is more important that the bezel don't slide away easily by the slightest force. I have a dive watch with 120 clicks but I notice the bezel always move by 1 or 2 clicks after few days of normal wearing. Not sure if that's a concern coz I don't dive.

monobloc case compared to screw in case back means that the potential leak from another location of the watch is reduced. it does not necessary mean that it will survive a dive.

if i am the owner of the helson watch, i would ask helson the cause of leak. before i collect the replacement set, i would ask for the set to be subjected to water proof test before delivery.

i agree with you that the movement of the bezel should not be possible with slightest force. this is because an additional click can make a difference in terms of bottom time for diver.

                              Something about the helson bronzo

I recently learnt that there are some issues with the said watch model. Apparently, the bronzo case is not what it actually is. I also saw that there is a notice on the helson's website about the watch.
