What is your ideal size of a watch (excluding crown)

As long as the watch look great on your wrist at the right moment and the right event. Size doesn't matter.
Many usually wear the wrong type of watch is what make it look weird.
Bigger wrist size doesn't mean a bigger watch will look great via verses.
the best bet is to try it out on your wrist. My 2cents opinion

For me a 36mm day date size is just nice. Not too big or small.

I have a small wrist. But i still like big watches. After wearing my PAM for so long and one day i decided to wear my sub and totally not use to it.. Haha.. So i think 44mm suit me better. Yet to try any 47mm on wrist.

I prefer between 39mm to 44mm. I think most Asian Man's wrists are suitable within this range. In addition, the thickness has to be reasonable. If too thick, it looks weird to me. Thus I'm unable to wear DSSD though 43mm is good.

Acceptable range for me 40mm to 44mm. Anything above 44mm personally i find it odd.
