Given what I currently have, here's how I'll mix it up:

Daily beater (Yardwork): Pam 24

Daily beater (Office wearer): Hulk

Weekend wearer: AP Roo or Graham Chronofighter

Sports/Diver/Chronograph: Any of the above

Travel watch: 5513 / 1680

Dress: Cartier Roadster / Santos 100xl

I definitely follow that principal. It is the basis before a collection.

1st Sub as dive/sport
2nd PP Calatrava ultra-thin as dress (sadly I rarely wear due to sweat/humidity in SG)
3rd Explorer (1) perfect mix of comfort, sport and dress - works with cuffs, suit, jeans and shorts

If I had to settle for one mechanical watch it would be a Nautilus then use a Casio in the muck.

As follow up, I tried to follow the media and not to like Rolex but Rolex is a brand of passion.

I could never fall is love with a Breguet, Breitling, IWC, Omega or Blancpain. Crazy companies with crazy owners selling crazy watches to crazy people.

I own a Patek and a VC which are beautiful babies that I fear I will break. They drive me mad.
