      Problem is not all stalls that come out with good recipe can survive. I've seen many that can't make it long though their food is good. Sometimes, it depends on luck, time and space i think

          Location is VERY IMPORTANT. Sometimes even if rent higher,it's worth the risk as once you are established,people will go find you where ever you go...

            My wife can make very good authentic kimchi because she's korean. problem is setup and marketing it...

              for this, it is hard because im not sure if u need to get government stamp of approval on the food product. does she want to setup a korean stall/shop?

                As long as Singaporeans can accept it can liaoz .

                Now there are alot of shopping center selling the Japaneses ice-cream using the manual machine to squeeze out from packings selling at $4-5 each cone also got ppl queuing up .

                  Exactly. Needs to get it certified halal, fit for consumption, package it, publicise it, etc. Not so easy. Set-up stall is a bit hard as high capital is involved here, and we got kids so don;t really can afford the time. But if anyone interested in kimchi business and think can work, can pm me. i can be the supplier

                          kimchi got many different flavours. the previous month go korea and shanghai. every meal in korea got kimchi.....eat until scared. but very healthy.

                            You're right. Got a few flavours. Ate before green vege kind of korean salad, raddish kimchi. But the most common is the one with the big cabbage...
