on a separate note, they must have been a double cross somewhere along the line because with that kind of money, you usually have everyone in your pockets... this kind of story make great hollywood movies. my all time favorite drug lord movie is still Al Pacino's Scarface, Johnny Depp's Blow is not bad too.

No way thats even close to USD1 Billion.... Assuming all full stack the same heights and all in usd100 Ben Franklin, it's 34 across times 12 deep times 50 bundles (100 pieces per bundle) height, close to USD204 Millions!
