From the 1st pic you provided, the granite top and the white joint pipe joints looks unevenly connected. Maybe water slipping out from there if not for condensation. If water appears below your granite sink, either there cracks or SS sink and granite not patch probably at the edges. All sure be still under contractor warrantly if within months. If water still not flowing smoothly after removing the pipe "cap" at the bottom, pour hot water into the sink, let it flow for a while and use those hand suction stick( those used in clearing choke pipe that can be bought in mama shop) and place on top of the sink hole and push it up and down a few time. If pipe is choke, the action would cause a pressure to clear the choke pipe. Hope not too late here.

Plumber snake maybe a bit hard for the wash bay sink as you look through the sink "cap" there is hardly any space for the "snake" to sneak in. Unless you want to dismantle the pipe joint all the way from the sink to the "cap"...

im not sure if sg plumbing has the same fitting as the one here in oz, but for my pipe joints, there is a smaller pipe (resembles a Y) that comes off the main pipe, by unscrewing the cap, i can thread the snake thru there.

as for PM... rudd already got defeated at the leadership, so the ranga (red head) is in power for now. whether she can lead her party to the next election. its anyone's guess
