Im a fan of Tod's shoes too. But mainly the classic loafers. I also like dolce gabbana shoes for their modern slim cut. Prada shoes design also not bad. I go more for the cut and design than the durability. but I do rotate my shoes so they do last quite long...

I own some Dolce&Gabanna and Prada shoes and they look really fashionable and trendy. Berluti shoes look slightly more mature but I guess their quality is definitely one step higher. (price also one step higher...)

I stocked up Kenneth Cole shoes cos their chunky shoes make me taller. Wear $2k+ shoes...later stepped on mud, water puddles and bird shot how? Heartpain you know? I'm sure I won't kick someone's ass wearing berluti. Give a pair of bata, I'll bonus kick that fella few more times. Haha

There are shoe people. More on ladies side for $1k shoes.
Even if it's "only" $500, but it's not going to be 2,3 pairs.

So for man to have 1,2 expensive quality shoes, I think it's cheaper compares to ladies.
It usually last longer.

At 2k+ it's like having a $200 shoe with $1k note as insoles each.
Not degrading the shoe but describing the feel.

Have never ventured as far as Bally, Tods, Bruno Mags and etc.

Am however a sucker for Campers (14 pairs and counting) for my casual days out. I'm pretty much a "One Brand Man" when it comes to clothes and apparels and i'll just stock up on whichever brand suits me best for the various categories! Guess i am wierd like that........

I get my Rockport from Isetan during sale. Great World City used to have an outlet but gone.
