  • Quick advice needed: one "good" watch ot a few "not as good" watch?

Hi to all seniors out there, im just starting to embark on my "poisonous" watch collection journey! As such i would like to have advice on whether to get one "good watch" or a few "not as good" watch.. I have a budget of abt 5k, so i was contemplating whether to get a 2nd hand iwc or a 2nd fortis +2nd hand tag heuer + seiko? Thanks in advance!

Not that i being vague here but your "good" may not be my "good". JLC,AP,PP,VC,A.L&S,PAM and etc are some of the good for me. The rest like tag, rolex, omega, oris, ball, breitling, fortis and etc are just normal based on reputation, production volume, mechanism and etc. Just My $2.

Or you based on prices alone? Best advice buy one good and one normal. With your budget(if there allowance for somemore), you might be able to get both in the 2nd hand market). Cheers.

I would get a 2nd hand IWC. It is easier to upgrade later.

In the first place, all, if not most watches (does not include fakes and/or homages) are good. It is only how brand conscious you are. With that amount of money, you can get a lot of good watches. Try on few of the brands you have mentioned and make a choice(s). Then start 'hunting' for one.

              Good luck!
