IWC pilot chrono? Got day and date and 7K can get you a brand new piece but in leather strap.

I intend to buy a watch for daily use, I am not too sure about maintenance but I would prefer a robust strong watch that can tolerate my careless knocking on tables, railings, doors. I am also looking to keep the watch, no intention for now to sell it.
I apologized for my non detailed message above, I am looking for swiss watches. Prefer chronograph with date, automatic movement. Open to any brands. Open to new or pre own conditions. Prefer size of 40 to 42mm, 45mm is out. Prefer a classical looking watch for office wear, non sporty type. Looking at stainless steel bracelet, not with leather strap.
Tough... Chrono + Bracelet.... Yet not sporty...

A good choice worth considering, if you wanted a chrono w/ date and don't mind the leather strap. Sold mine away and now kinda miss it.... LOL!

                      Good Choice!!! I would say

It has the bracelet version as well... matter of personal preference...

IMHO, kevlar strap should look quite good on it too

if you're getting the 3717, buy it with the bracelet and buy the leather strap later if you want a leather strap. the bracelet itself will cost more than $3k at the ADs if you buy it separately.
