  • Recommend a watch for a budget of $7000

Please help to recommend a watch for a budget of $7000.
I am open to second hand watches, preferably looking at chronographs but non chronographs is fine too.

Don't think your question is going to help you. It's like asking people to reconmend u a car with 100k budget but didnt say which brand you prefer? Japanese or continental? Sports/ MPV/ SUV /Sedan? Capacity?

Since you are asking this in a ROLEX forum, it has got to be a ROLEX watch. For $7,000, I'll say ..

      - Submariner 16610
      - Submariner 16610LV
      - Seadweller 16660
      - Milgauss 116400
      - Explorer II 16570
      - GMT-Master II 16710
      - Yacht-Master 168622
      - Turn-O-Graph 116264
      - Datejust 116200
      - Datejust 116234

      Anymore?

Hi thanks for the help, I have also received a nice message from a buddy here on questions I should ask myself before making more decisions.
I intend to buy a watch for daily use, I am not too sure about maintenance but I would prefer a robust strong watch that can tolerate my careless knocking on tables, railings, doors. I am also looking to keep the watch, no intention for now to sell it.
I apologized for my non detailed message above, I am looking for swiss watches. Prefer chronograph with date, automatic movement. Open to any brands. Open to new or pre own conditions. Prefer size of 40 to 42mm, 45mm is out. Prefer a classical looking watch for office wear, non sporty type. Looking at stainless steel bracelet, not with leather strap.

I think a sub is a good choice. It is versatile enough for office wear and also casual wear. If u need it to be sporty, it fits the bill as well. Black is easier to match, but green is more youthful looking and sporty.
              Current babies:
              Sub 16610LN D series
              PAM 312 M series
              IWC 500112 Laureus Limited Edition

              Wish list:
              116613LB?
              a good White dial watch

TS stated those underlined aka preference. so sub may not be the priority as it has no chronograph function. also sub is more sporty and hence not preferred.

                  given your preference

                  under 7k
                  new or preown
                  non sporty
                  bracelet
                  swiss watch

                  can consider

                  breitling chronomat
                  tag heuer carrera chronograph

                  however can also consider

My IWC Galapagos would bea nice one. Only things is its over 7k unless I wear it for another year or 2 more. Ha. Joking.

For 7k used, can get any Rolex or Pam chrono. Maybe a used IWC aqua timer 3717.
