Against SGD? Or on a global basis?
On a global basis... the USD would be the de facto currency to hold during a recession. So demand for USD wouldn't lessen during this period.
As for vs. SGD... that depends if MAS will continue keep its monetary policy loose. Now... imports (in USD) expensive, export (SGD) cheap. But I think it'll stay around 1.5+ for the time being.The ArmchairEconomist
