hey guys. i'm thinking of getting a watch with a gmt function but budget is around 1 to 2k only. hmmm anything you guys can think of? dun have to be brand new. pre owned also can. just dunno what to get.

yeah. got a couple of those already. ard 500 dollars. but looking for an affordable swiss time piece i guess. hmmm. no offence. the japanese watches work just as, if not, better. ha.

think the UTC 856 is slightly above 2k, but less than 2.5k. it is a good watch to have. it is my traveling watch

My 2 cents view:

Buy what you really like / desire and try not to constraint by your budget. For example, if what you truly desire is a GMT II, then it may be better to save the $2k and build up your watch funds before buying the watch. At the end of the day, if the $2k watch is not what you truly desire, it will be money gone.
