      The lever of the crown? The one from website is on top whereas the one from dealer is bottom.

            Hmm, the crown guard mis-position and...the baton numerals at 12' o clock on the actual piece looks a little curved compared to the website pic!
            Was the crown guard somewhat removed and replaced in an incorrect position? One can only guess...

              Think its the position i took the pics...
              According to seller,this is what it is when he receive....anyway im there viewing...it's in minty condition.....
              Dont look like remove before...

                Bro, I think its quite easy to remove with the panerai supplied screw-driver. As long as one is not butter fingered and scratches the crown guard, it will look like its not been removed before...but for sure the "Reg Trademark" should be facing upwards lah. Not a Pam305 expert, so I guess some other more experienced bros can shed light.
