Te last time I visited JW (mths ago) n made sme enquiries, was disgusted at te way they manipulated their prices. Nt tat they r dishonest but why cant go straight to te pt (on their pricing)?!

I'm nt sure nw but wat I'd learnt then was watever prices u see displayed on their watches r before a 7%gst. Quite substantive since we r talking abt few thousands of dollars watches. And mind u, tat's for cash payment only. If use credit card, u add another 3%, so adds up to 10% more on top of "displayed price". Then they hd te credit card instalment scheme n u knw wat, tats another 4% more !

So if u wish to buy a $5k watch using credit card n on instalmt, you'll pay $5000+7%(GST)+7%(interest on CC)=$5000+350+350=$5700. If use credit card oni, $5000+7%gst(350)+3%CC int(150)=$5550, n if cash straight is $5000+7%gst(350)=$5350.
