  • How do you get rid of oxidised or spots that has formed on metal?

I realised that some of the metal parts of my pens like the clip has some spots, it should be oxidized but any ways to remedy ?

I know this will spread like a disease if I don't stop as I all my pens in my display pen box.

as far as i know, stainless steel should not rust. but if plated gold, if you clean it, can sometimes say bye bye to the gold.

can consider using white vinegar or baking soda with damp soft toothbrush.

i dont know about pens. but on my vintage razor i manage to remove the gold plating just by rubbing too hard on the bench grinder.

now i have to replate the gold which is going to cost me quite abit.
