What do you think of getting the Sub LV for investment?

    Comment

    • #32
no one would be able to say for 100 per cent certainty that a particular watch has good investment value.

as the sub lv is limited in production, it can POTENTIALLY have a higher resale value. market forces also play a part. high demand, low supply will increase price. however, low demand with high supply will decrease the price.

rolex watches is one of the many brands out there that can command a X value in second hand market.

Rather difficult to get one at list. The chance is as good as 0.

also the new GMT is currently sold for 11k @ HG. so looks like THH is offering a good deal. however, the list price is ~9500. i rather sit out and wait till the hype is over.

                          OK...back to this thread again.

My mum MIGHT allow me to trade my ExpII for another watch for investment. I think so far the only 1 that has value is Daytona...anything else?

for me it is those rare production like double red, paul newman, LV, etc that would be worth investing.
