Would I say most Rolex and Pam watches would depreciate in the initial years before recovering?

But I notice Sea Dweller are floating around SG$6k plus for pre-owned. However not sure what's the price during for those series or years.

Watches are never meant for investment. In this new age, Rolex produces so many watches that I don't think value will go up much much.....

This is what I had been thinking. Rolex seem to be more on the "production" quantity with quality in mind seems to be flooding the market.

I guess its wise to buy something of your preferences and likes than considered as an investment.
