  • what rubber straps would you recommend for dive watch

what rubber straps would you recommend for dive watches.

i have seen ted su ones, did not like the deployment buckle.

i have used those from dive straps.

i prefer simple ones, tang buckle or deployment are ok.

    width -22 mm

    any recommendations are appreciated.

I will go for IN buckle (PVD or Steel both ok), black rubber.
IN buckle is the round one.

Firstly its soft. But most important the strap is thin at the holes edge.
Important so the strap will not rub the case between the lugs.
That's what happened when I fix a strap on sub previously.

Will get one when a suitable 14060M comes.

Please remove the pictures if not suitable.
        Not promoting for them.

isofranes are nice, but pricey. i'm not 100% sure if they're worth the money unless you own a very big chunky watch (ploprof, et al).

i would recommend either of the two natural rubber models made by hirsch. one is called PURE the other one i'm not sure.

same material as the isofrane, except with a slight taper. but the adjustment holes are slightly narrower on the isofrane.

tang polished buckles, but in a much brighter tone than other SS buckles i'm used to. not sure why!

i can only recommend going for a natural rubber strap due to its pliability and comfort factor, as opposed to silicon or some other types of plastic.

the material used in seiko/citizen dive straps are quite stiff. silicon attracts a lot of lint even (especially???) after washing. natural rubber has no such properties.

i know PURE and HEVEA are hirsch natural rubber straps but i'm not familiar with the other models... i believe yours is one of a few other models they make!
