perhaps i can connect you and your mentor to 1 of my friends Dr M. A~, a very prominent quan trader/quan hedge fund owner (he never advertise in papers proclaiming he was hedge fun trader or someone who defeated a central bank before) specialising in HFT in indicies/FX? he is constantly looking for ppl and ideas which makes him and his clients lots and lots of $$$. i bet he will be very interested to know how your mentor trade live and perhaps not a pre-recorded price movement. If he likes your methods, discipline and secrets (apparently now disclosed and taught by your mentors to many successful discipines), he may buy you a couple of Optus V instead of you working hard to fuel your occasional Rolex.

you posted so many times but only got 1 attendee so far. Can i suggest that you give out some freebies such as some free trading softwares or free trading credits to entice potential attendees NOT from this forum? Am sure you will get > 1 RSVP... else, conduct courses on rolex, sure full house everytime!

regardless, do bear in mind that retail traders will lose out eventually on slippages regardless whether mkt moves in your favour or not. good luck to you and your team. perhaps we will always be on the opposite side of the same trade, who knows.

Bro. I dunno what have u been thru before that made u so skeptical. I nv give false hopes to ppl by saying u can earn big money in forex with zero risk. Traders all know that there will be risk when trading, it's only how to minimize that risk and to control it. I can however say that a certain percentage of profits can be seen when trading and that's y I continue trading. No point carrying on if there's no money to be made right?

I really have to disagree with this. I will have to repeat, risks come from not knowing what you are doing. You lose out to bigger FISH because you do not think the same way as those bigger fish. You have to understand those trading "secrets" and some are as below,

Basically there are 2 basic parts in such trading. 1. the technical analysis, 2. the fundamentals. I am very sure if you are able to master these 2, you will not say that its a scam.
Ask yourself, have you done sufficient homework to understand the market/instruments/indices you are trading? Do you know how to manage what you have? Do you know when to enter/exit? What are your strategies when it comes to risky market? Do you know what the market thinks?

It is easy for others because they know what they are doing, people lose because they dont know. And its a sad sight to see many commoners fall for the easy money trap, when it comes to money its never easy.

tips?? yeah, follow adam smith's theory of specialisation: you make more money doing what you do best than venturing into unknowns.

it is unusual that no one has came forth in forum to advertise today's invest column in strait imes that "mentors" help mentees make money?? And to those who believe they know the Fx mkt after a few hours of crash course of TA and FA or technimentals etc: the fx mkt is simply the simplest mkt, so simple that no one understands; thus explain the reason why all bank spot traders and macro fx funds all died! there's nothing much to undertsand cos differenct forces are at work at different times depending on situations. If you understand the mkt, it is like saying how one understands the net effect of the individual central banks' short term and long term monetary policies, occasional intervention for reasons not due to economics without or with sterilsation, QE and LTROs, importers and exporters commerical and hedging needs, SWF flows, HF movements, IMF open interest, traders' defence of their digitals, kiko, RR etc. it is so unusual that some individual are trying hard to smplify a highly mystified mkt...

to read the fx mkt, you need to predict the stock mkt in risk on/off environments. well, if u want to trade the fx mkt, you might be better off trading the stock mkt which has been leading the fx mkt for the past many quarters?

Minimerc, thanks for sharing what you think. I dun do scalping because I feel that it's dumb to be risking more than what you could be making. No offense to any scalpers out there. Just my personal opinion. Another thing is that I do not use a robot or EA as well. There is no strategy or techniques that can be used throughout the years. Market keeps changing and we the traders have to do so as well. Anyway, the bro found it useful as well to start from the basics again after attending the class. I did not force anyone to attend the class as well. Basically just sharing whatever that I think could benefit people. If some bros out there feels that I am forcing people to attend the class because I up my posts once in a while, then it doesn't make sense when people selling items can up their posts once a day and I can't share the dates once in a while even when it's free? Dun understand the logic behind it...
