  • EXCEL WATCH SHOP Worst Customer Service I experience !!!

I was at Excel watch shop at golden landmark during lunchtime, wanted to send in a
18K gold watch bracelet for polish because colour looks dull.

been to Excel Watch previously attended by a guy, this time a lady comes and says we charged you too low the other day at $x , today price is $y ..well no choice I said ok.

she took my bracelet and that is it, I stood there expecting some sort of advice or receipt to acknowledge my gold bracelet, she said "NO receipt, come collect tomorrow, if you asked for receipt then you can only collect 2 days later because I am very busy" just give me your name and phone number....I thought what kind of attitude ?

..i walked out but feeling uneasy cos this is only my 2nd time , I dont know her, she don't know me so I walked back into the shop again and insisted on receipt , she scribble and throws me a receipt only 1 word on it "polish"..just one word...no description like "18k rolex bracelet 21 links" etc.

I got pissed off so I said in chinese "since you are so unhappy (boh song) doing, dont do"

I dealt with most dealers and all friendly and nice but this Excel shop is on my top blacklist!

Excel Watch shop ------NEVER again, you think you are the only one who can do polishing? this is not brain surgery ...any shop can do!!! walked over to another shop and they automatically issued a receipt!

i think the lesson we as customers need to be aware of is that if you send in any watch and/or parts for service/repair, we always need to have at least an acknowledgement receipt indicating as much information on the item as possible.

Bro, never look for that lady....she is always busy........... look for the man. I have good experience with his customer service and he took down all serial numbers of the watch and also the number of links. But still that plump lady should not conduct business in this manner.

Go DIY shop, buy a pack of Cape Cod and do a DIY polishing.

          Its easy and convenience.

My first visit to Watch Concept @#02-01 in Lucky Plaza gave a very good impression. It specialises in polishing and servicing all kinds of branded watches. Three friendly gentlemen, two Chinese and a Malay, work in the simple-looking shop. A Mr Rossli served me. When I told him that the crown of my 1803 dropped out a few nights ago and parts attached to the casing were loose, he told me politely that it will just take a short while to fix them. I only had to wait half an hour but we ended up chatting for the next 45 minutes in English and Malay! It was all in good spirit However, the same cannot be said about the gentleman from Singapore Horology Centre next door who told me he could not entertain me as he was too busy that day. Just side by side but what a difference in customer service. Sigh

some people who gives me bad attitude and think they are very clever.

I have bet many times that they will close down, they really close down. Especially one that I was in in Toa Payoh (don't want to mention names) a few years back. Give me "no Hiew" attitude when I want to buy a Panneristi watch. After I walked out, I told myself, this fellow will one day be closed, Now he is really closed!!

These people really cannot go far with such attitudes in business.

Just wait one day! It will surely come!!

Haiz, talking about bad experience ay watch shops. I guess i will share one as well which happened to me who was with my dad at a P Watch shop at Golden Landmark last week to look for a daily beater for myself. The middle-aged uncle in the shop also gave me the "no Hiew" attitude like what happened to Bro Richard, yet the greatest joke is when the next customer who is a foreigner entered the shop, the uncle quickly change his attitude towards the customer. The uncle treated my dad and i as though we are transparent, What the Hell was the first thing that comes to my mind, i think i will never go to that shop again. Just my dad and my experience at this particular shop.

I know which shop you are talking about, and I share your feeling I used to go in and look see look see whenever I walked pass the shop, and sometimes made some inquiries on the prices. The prices were at the high side, maybe because most of them had been serviced (by the owner himself). But what really turned me off is the like-i-own-him-a-few-millions-dollars kinda attitude.

And this guy is also selling in this forum.

I think maybe is the same person. With this kind of attitude, he will lose out in a few million dollar business which he really did.

Not even a single interest in his sales. make a few more bucks from a greenhorn like me last time also dont what. It caused his downfall must be.

SG-ROC provides positive and negative feedback for its buyers and sellers within this forum.

as for sellers, it has been pointed out that there is both positive and negative feedback. it is individual experience, just like service centres, some may have positive, some may be negative. for the same shop, different staff provide different types of service.

to state name of shop explicitly may incur undesirable consequences, one of our members here was threaten with a potential legal case before for 'naming' a shop. however, the issue was resolved between both parties.
