Am i overcharged?

Hi,

Am quite new here:-) Got introduced to this forum by a friend. Must said that is really good place with great people & great info around

After going through some of the posting here, i have got some doubts with the price of a winder which i got last month from a watch shop in Millenia Walk, was charged for a Eilux double winder for S$925.20 after a 10% discount.

But realised that i might be overcharged by a lot after seeing some forumer selling their 1 or 2 months old Eilux 3 watch winder (same brand same design somemore is for 3 watches) at around S$500.

Hope that the senior & more experience forumer here can help to enlighten:-)

You should check with the forummers who sold theirs for S$500, where they got theirs and at what price.

Due to differences in tax rates, business costs, currency rates, it is better to compare apples to apples.

For what it is worth, every watch shop in Singapore is "overcharging" compared with watches sold in US/Malaysia/Thailand/Hong Kong or through Online.

Well...you agreed with the price...cannot really say it's overcharging because ADs sell at retail price...not like 2x above the retail price.

I wouldn't say that you were overcharged. Just that you did not get it at the best possible price.

lets look it from another view, you have purchased the item, why bother looking at price? once you have bought, just leave it at that.

my advise is to just enjoy the winder, since you are making good use, it shouldnt matter much anyway.

now that you know this forum, you will find your wallet always no money
