  • Process of servicing at Richemont

Hi kind people, can educate me about the process to service a watch a Richemont.

For example, if i take a PAM bought in 2005 to Richemont, wanting servicing. What is the process like? Do they take in the watch at the spot, check for what are required to be done, give me a quote and ask if i want to service? If the above is true, how long for the quote?

On top of that, what is actually "serviced" during servicing? I suppose does not include polishing unless i request for it to be done right...

    Thanks in advance for help..

The process is more or less like you have described. The check also includes timing check. The wait is about half to one hour.

Correct, polishing is optional. However, you might want to take note that for most if not all watches, Richemont will not just do polishing for you. The polishing must be followed by a servicing since they have to disassemble the watch - at least that was what I was told when I was there recently.

regardless whether polishing is done or not, it is best that you explicitly tell them that you dont want to polish the watch if you dont. sometimes the technician may just do that.
