Stemming from Mr wolfeyes1974 thread about his dismay over non-lume on dress watches, I wonder what your pet peeves (things that you dislike/annoy you) are on watches?

Small movements in large cases:

Cyclop (magnifying bubble) on Panerai watches. Just a personal dislike....dun flame me!

Big watch with small lug size.

I don't think there should be flaming because it is every individual's preferences. And tx Mr wee for the extra effort in inserting those pics

thick case, they just don't seat well on the wrist.

I really really really hate spending so much on watches!

Cyclops on any watch....esp Rolex!

Cyclop on rollies looks nice but dunno y just can't click for me on a Pam...

dislike polished centre links. becomes a scratch magnet.

1. Yes. Tiny movement in large case. Especially without real need or purpose.

2. Unreadable time. Super messy dial.

3. Unreadable date. Try reading date on some small santos etc.

4. Unreadable sub dial.

5. Sports watch with 30m / 50m WR

6. 100K watch with no WR. yes repeaters.

7. Haute Horology super beautiful movement with no display case back. pay 50K for the technician to see?

8. No date. Bearable but irritates.

9. Overly large case without purpose.

10. PR that don't stop at zero

11. >10K watch that cannot meet COSC. Yes those geneva seals ones.

pam cyclops. a BIG BIG dislike.

watches that display "open heart" without real purpose. feels like they're imitating a tourbillon (except zenith open)

stock ETA movements (minimally decorated) but display case back. what's the point?

note that it's written on the rotor "ETA 7750"

watches with recessed pushers for date, moon-phases, 2nd time zone. would very much prefer to be done by crown.

not to offend anyone! just my personal preference!
