some watch brands make very exclusive fountain pens. you can go in that direction also...
i've used pelikan for a long time (almost 15 years) and i like that i can interchange all my nibs so i'm sticking with them.
pens can be quite personal - the barrel and nib may not be suited to your style/preference so... good luck!“Watches, no matter how much they cost, are better at telling time than making a person happy.†- Thomas J. Stanley

Super high end... Caran D'Arche....
Or even though it seems like they only produce crayons and pencils, Faber Castell's Pen of the year is equally exquisite.Currently own:

Seiko SNZG15K1
Ball EMII Diver green inner bezel!
Stowa Marine Original (White dial)

I remember that was a shop in Funan last time selling many high end and collectible pens - not sure if they are still there though. Very unfortunate that pens are not as popular as collectibles as watches since the era of email and internet. I still have a Parker which my dad gave me 30 years ago as well as his Shafer fountain pen. I also gave my daughter a parker for her PSLE...and a Mountblanc to pass to her when she reaches university (hopefully!)

I would recommend namiki or sailor if you're into lacquer/makie pens. Dunhill used to order their pens from namiki.
I was fortunate to meet one of the directors of pilot during my trip in Japan and did not know who he was until we spoke.
Otherwise there are montegrappa, pelikan, cartier, caran dache, faber castell ( more famous for having the most ex pencil in the world), visconti and many others.
In SG a few shops u can go to: fook hing at bras basah, aesthetic bay at ion, elephant and coral ( used to be at wheellock)
Have fun!

personally, i don't consider caran d'ache high end as there are a few manufacturers out there priced higher and that make more exquisite pens. but they are an interesting company to be considered!
fountain pens and the mess that they come with is part and parcel of owning something with a nice smooth wet nib! you'll get used to it and it's something you can do in your office when you need to take a break... : ))))))
the shop from funan has moved to orchard ion... i think!“Watches, no matter how much they cost, are better at telling time than making a person happy.†- Thomas J. Stanley

Used to have fountain pen. Branded or not it's messy.
Even if using catridge it can leak. And never bring it to a plane.
Even higher risk of leaking.
IMO montblanc is still evergreen for pen.
Roller ball or ball is good.
Only thing is all roller ball have detached cap which I don't like.Audemars Piguet Ball Bell&Ross Cartier IWC Longines Omega Panerai Rolex Sinn Tissot
Alba Casio Citizen Roox Seiko
Wanted to add PP but bo lui
