      Clever girl!!

You think the Paralympics medal winners will be rewarded monetarily like the ping pong players in the Olympics?

I think she will get about $100K for her gold medal. Not much compared to what the paddlers got but it's enough for her to get a few Rolex, right.

                    Yes... Absolutely proud of her!

She deserves more than any of the other able-bodied medal winners! Cos she's the first one to put "Majulah Singapura" on the Olympic podium. That's history in the making...

Hope she gets even better 'winners' treatment than them... Open-top bus, the works! Not only her.. but for the entire team. Not to celebrate the win... but celebrate life itself...

There was so much hype surrounding the achievements of our Olympic athletes, why don't I see any of that for the Paralympians? A congratulatory message popping up once in a while on TV and newspapers is only a half-hearted attempt to show our support. I want to at least see live coverage of the events that our athletes competed in, on national TV! This is the first time that our national anthem was played in the Olympic Games, and we don't actually get to see the live footage on TV...

$750K for foreign talent and only $100k for True Singaporean...

Because to them, the Paralympics is only a sideshow, without all the glamour and the bling.
