i just had dinner with my uncle last night. now i know why TS ask this question. my uncle is staying in kaki bukit. for the past few elections, he told me that he is in different GRC, now he is having an identity crisis which is he is under which GRC. i told him that next time before he proceeds to town council, please check which one is he suppose to go, this is to prevent wasted time travelling to and fro.

another chat with a friend of mine staying in joo chiat for close to 30 years. he dont understand how is that joo chiat is no longer part of joo chiat smc but rather under marine parade GRC. instead, people staying in telok kurau and east coast road is under joo chiat smc. he too is facing identity crisis.

somethings is beyond me to understand also. i am really clueless.

i guess politics is not for me. too complicated for me to understand. i wish i live in tanjong pagar. then i dont need to vote.

when i moved house (one street away) my seat changed too!

we use public schools to cast votes; and after moving house, i keep going to the wrong one. this problem is made worse because we have different seat for state and federal elections

I think PAP will win Marine Parade and taxpayers will have to pay our possible 4th generation leader Tin Pei Ling $15k...i honestly think she's lacks the maturity and calibre to be the 4th generation leader..just look at her suggestion of free lunches and energy saving bulbs to help low income families...that cracked me up big time!

ya la bro. is not only 15k. if u calculate 5 years salary, is like 1 million. so if pap win, effectively the people just made tin pei ling a millionaire. im not too sure if that's what she deserves. :S

my dad starts to worry when he saw TPL on TV under the banner of Macpherson coz he stays there. He told me that he & his Macpherson senior kopi kakis will have to seriously consider the consequences if TPL is voted in.....I believe the hot seat this GE may not be confined to just Aljunied GRC.
