I'm sure some of us surf overseas watch forums sales corner/section. From my obervation so far, i find it peculiar that this seems to happen only in local forums. this is what i mean:

When a seller lists his items for sale, he'll put his contact details and say "please contact/pm/email me for enquiries/assistance"..we'll then have members/potential buyers here who will reply to the sales thread and say "i'm keen in your watch, please contact me at XXXX..." why can't buyer just contact the seller directly instead of asking the seller to contact him? is this what we call "buyer is BIGGER than seller" mentality? If you can reply to the sales thread, why not pick up the phone to sms or email the seller directly?

    maybe this is uniquely singapore??

Interesting observation bro James ... Just realised yesterday when I logged onto the other local watch forum that someone had actually PM me with a trade offer of an AP Diver (+ cash top-up) after I listed my ROO Safari on-line for sale about a week ago ... Wished the person had contacted me via my mobile directly

Singapore phone calls are very expensive so you pay than I pay...

May be the buyer missed-see the seller contact number?!??!

Just like some buyers always ask Q like come with paper and box? Whereas seller already stated in the thread said comes in full package...

not really bro..look at the sales thread and you'll see this common trend..

even when seller say to pm if there are any enquiries but a lot of buyers will reply to ask seller to contact them...

usually those that have seller contact no but choose to ask the seller to contact him or pm him are usually time wasters if not all

So true. go to other forum, seller may leave phone number or contact via PM. Almost unseen/unheard of in Oz.

                      Definitely unique singapore.

How expensive can a phone call be compared to the watches being transacted here?
